Our History

Central Insurance Associates began as the R.L. Cleveland Insurance Agency in 1948. Ralph L. Cleveland, Jr. was one of the founding members of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Indiana and continued with the agency until his retirement of 1999. Today, the Ralph L. Cleveland, Jr. Professional Agent of the Year Award is given by the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Indiana in his honor.

In 1994, the agency name was changed to Central Insurance Associates. Today the agency is guided by Timothy P. Allen and Jonathan A. Keller.
